Harvey is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), a Registered Occupational Hygiene Technologist (ROHT), and was the ROHT Director (2011-2017) for the Canadian Registration Board of Occupational Hygienists (CRBOH). Harvey is a graduate of the BCIT OH&S program.

Harvey has been in the OH&S consulting industry since 1990 and has assessed a wide variety of workplaces ranging from residential to industrial facilities. Harvey has consulted on many routine and unique/specialized projects, and is very knowledgeable in asbestos, lead, hazardous materials, confined spaces, occupational hygiene and general safety issues. He is also our senior air and bulk asbestos analyst with over 25 years of experience.

Ramin is a graduate of the BCIT OH&S Certificate program and has been working in the OH&S industry since 2006. Ramin is a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and is working towards his Canadian Health & Safety Consultant (CHSC) designation. He also holds an Electronics Engineering diploma.

Ramin specializes in hazardous materials, worker exposure monitoring, contract specifications and general safety issues. He has inspected and assessed a wide variety of residential, commercial and industrial workplaces. Ramin is a Qualified Professional (QP) for the City of Vancouver to complete declarations for salvage and abatement of commercial, industrial and residential buildings prior to demolition.

Samantha graduated with a Bachelor of Environmental Science Degree with a concentration in Biology from Carleton University in 2013 and is working towards becoming a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP).

Prior to entering the OH&S industry Samantha worked as a conservation consultant and an environmental scientist in the forestry and fisheries industries. Samantha has been with Kinetic OHS since 2015. She oversees large scale hazardous material abatement projects to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Samantha is proficient in conducting site inspections, assessments, surveys and hazardous materials awareness training.

Jennifer is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), holds a BSc in Biology from the University of Victoria and a MSc in Botany from the University of Manitoba. She has over 18 years of experience in health and safety consulting in British Columbia and has presented at AIHce conferences. Additionally she manages the Industrial hygiene department at Kinetic OHS.

Jennifer has conducted risk assessments of various different hazards (biological, chemical and physical) in many different workplaces ranging from schools, offices and hospitals to oil refineries, grain elevators and sawmills. Areas of particular interest include mould investigations, indoor air quality, confined spaces, exposure assessments, and challenging cases.

Shannon is a Senior Industrial Hygienist at Kinetic OHS. She is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), holds a BSc in Biology from the University of British Columbia and a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety from the British Columbia Institute of Technology. With over 19 years of experience in health and safety consulting across British Columbia, she has also been recognized as an expert witness in legal proceedings.

Shannon has managed complex occupational hygiene projects and conducted risk assessments across a wide range of industries, including mining, marine, manufacturing, oil and gas, commercial, and residential sectors. She is heavily experienced in work involving fungal and biological investigations, indoor air quality, hazardous materials assessments, chemical exposure control, confined spaces, and the remediation of impacted indoor environments, including former illicit drug manufacturing sites.

Desiree holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies and Geography from Queen’s University and a Diploma in Analytical Chemistry from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). She is certified with the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of British Columbia (ASTTBC) and has been with Kinetic OHS since 2020.

Desiree is an Industrial Hygienist with experience conducting occupational exposure assessments, environmental investigations, and hazardous materials inspections across commercial, residential, industrial, and construction settings. Her background in analytical chemistry provides a strong technical foundation for evaluation of sampling parameters and interpretation of analytical laboratory data to assess worker exposures.

Mehdi has a Computer Software degree and holds an AHERA Building Inspector certificate. He has been in the OHS consulting industry for 11 years. Prior to entering the OH&S industry he had 6 years of experience as a Project Manager in the software industry.

Mehdi started working at Kinetic OHS in 2015 as an OHS technologist and has since worked his way to becoming a project manager. As a project manager, Mehdi manages various residential, commercial and Industrial hazardous materials projects. He is well experienced in asbestos, lead, and hazardous materials surveys.

Michael has been working with Kinetic OHS since 2017 as an OHS Technologist. Prior to entering the OHS industry, Michael completed a Diploma in Digital Design and Development from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in 2016. He currently holds an AHERA Building Inspector certificate.

Michael conducts air monitoring for asbestos and lead as well as sampling of hazardous material surveys from residential and commercial spaces. He is also experienced in creating and maintaining asbestos inventory databases for numerous clients. Michael is in charge of updating and managing the Kinetic OHS website.

Jeff is a Senior OHS Technologist and certified WorkSafeBC Level S Surveyor with a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health from the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). Bringing a strong foundation in public health and hazardous material inspections, Jeff manages environmental monitoring, site compliance, and technical field operations across both residential and commercial sectors.

In addition to leading site evaluations, Jeff plays a key role in mentoring and training new technologists in sampling procedures and safety protocols. He is particularly experienced in asbestos and lead air monitoring, pre-renovation and pre-demolition hazardous materials surveys, public health hazard evaluations, site safety compliance, and NIOSH 7400 phase contrast microscopy (PCM) sample analysis.

Katie graduated with a Bachelor degree in Environmental Science from Guelph University in 2002, majoring in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences. Prior to laboratory work, Katie conducted contamination studies, Phase I and II environmental site assessments, groundwater monitoring and hazardous materials sampling programs.

Katie has been working as a lab analyst in the Kinetic OHS in-house laboratory since 2018. Katie performs asbestos bulk sample analysis using Polarized Light Microscopy.

Aida joined Kinetic OHS in 2017 and brings a broad background in office administration, client relations, and operational support. She is fluent in English, German, Farsi, and Turkish, allowing her to seamlessly assist and communicate with a diverse range of clients and partners.

Aida supports the day-to-day operations at Kinetic OHS, working closely with clients and the laboratory. Her responsibilities include sample coordination, invoicing, and supporting accounting activities.

Joyce holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of British Columbia and brings over 12 years of financial management and auditing experience to Kinetic OHS. Trilingual in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, she excels at overseeing complex financial operations and supporting a diverse clientele.
